Welcome to My World!

Hi, I’m sure glad you’ve found your way to my page. I’ll be blogging every week about this and that but mostly about quilting, fabric, old feed sacks, and whatever else pops into my head. You’ll get to meet Earl, my snotty Siamese cat who thinks he runs the place. (That’s because he does!) Ally, my shy little cat, may even pop in once in a while, as well.

Check back here often, Earl might be giving away some of my books, maybe some fabric, or who knows what else. I’m sure I’m going to have to watch him like a hawk. He doesn’t have much sense, you know. After all, he IS a cat.

  1. Really enjoyed your presentation to the Booneslick Trail guild yesterday. Thank you so much for your witty, low-key, interesting talk. I love the way you were “hooked” into writing books about quilting. With one word the rest of your life was set out for you! Well you’ve done a good job. Thank you so much.

  2. Just finished reading your book ‘Across the Wide Misssouri” . I so enjoyed the stories of the women you shared. I am originally from Oregon and grew up on events that were shared of the ole west. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to finding your other books.
